וירטואוז התופים מארק ג׳וליאנה מגיע להופעה אחת במועדון הבארבי תל אביב עם הרכב הדגל שאותו הוא מוביל – “ביט מיוזיק”!

ג׳וליאנה מכה ברכות כבר למעלה מ-2 עשורים וניגן בהרכבים שונים ומגוונים – אבישי כהן (בסיסט), דיויד בואי, טיגראן חמסיאן, בראד מלדהו אבל גם יצא עם שני פרויקטי סולו. האחד באווירת הג׳אז הקלאסי והשני צבוע באדג׳ ייחודי שבו הוא חוקר את גבולות הג׳אז והאלקטרוניקה – BEAT MUSIC.

פרויקט ה״ביט מיוזיק״ של ג’וליאנה שאותו הקים ב-2014 כלל באלבומו הראשון לא פחות מ- 30 יצירות (!) כשהוא אוסף סביבו נגנים ממגוון הקשת המוזיקלית. הביט המשיך וכמה שנים אחרי ריליס הבכורה, ממש לפני חודשיים – שוחרר לו סינגל ראשון מאלבום חדש!

באלבום החדש, מארק ממשיך לחקור את הקו ולמתוח את הגבולות שמפרידים בין ג׳אז לאלקטרוניקה עם שותפים/נגנים מהטופ העולמי כמו -, BigYuki, Nick Semrad, Chris Morrissey ,וכך הם יוצרים קטעים שמלאים בהרמוניה ונותנים הרבה מקום אחד לשני לאימפרוביזציה ואינטרפטציות שונות. באלבומו הנוכחי, ג׳וליאנה מחפש את הג׳אז של העתיד ונוגע בכבדות בעולמות האלקטרוניקה, קצת כמו מוריו ורביו הרבי הנקוק שיצא במהלך הקריירה לטיולי אלקטרוניקה חדשניים. חלקם התקבלו בברכה וחלקם אף נגנזו.

במהלך קריירת הסולו הלך ג׳וליאנה גם לעולמות הג׳אז הקלאסים ביחד עם הקוורטט (רביעייה), והוציא שני אלבומי מופת. בניגוד למתופפי ג׳אז שהקליטו אלבומים, מארק בחר שלא לשים את התופים במרכז התמונה המוזיקלית ולתת ביטוי לכל אחד מהנגנים לספר את הסיפור שלו.

הוורסטיליות שלו כמתופף באה לידי ביטוי בכל הרכב שבו הוא מעורב. כמו לדוגמא שיתוף הפעולה המוצלח עם בראד מלדאו
